SERVICES

When you use "Kona Car Guy", you've got someone who can help you make smart, informed decisions.

The advice and guidance I offer you is free. It's good business.

Here's what I can help you with:

Buying a Vehicle

Very few people enjoy the process of going to the car dealership and haggling with the salesman for hours. When you need my services, give me a call, tell me what you're looking for, and sit back and relax.

Used Cars - Mechanically Sound. When I look at a car and I'm evaluating the mechanical condition, I'm not guessing. And if I can't see the vehicle personally, I'm taking the information from someone on the other end that I've been doing business with for 15 years.

New Cars - Dealer Network. I make sure your car deal is handled by a dealer in my network. My dealers provide bottom line pricing and straight forward service for me.

Just like in any other industry, there are some great car dealers, there are some average car dealers, and then there are some...well, you know. After 30 years, I know the difference.

Financing

When you're ready to make the purchase, I can help arrange financing for you.

You've got options which always result in lower cost.

My dealer network works with hundreds of lenders. Whether you have perfect credit or are credit challenged, I can help you. I'll secure the best possible rates and terms regardless.

I have seen no changes in auto financing availability due to recent national banking concerns. Auto loans continue to be cheap and readily available.

Selling You Car

If you want to take the time and effort to sell your car yourself, I can tell you what the Actual Cash Value (ACV) is for your car in your area. This is typically the dealer trade in price which gives you a good starting point to work from.

But selling a car involves being available for showings and test drives on the weekends, keeping the car pristine clean, and dealing with strangers. On sales over $10,000, your resale potential as a private party seller goes down because people typically need financing and have trade ins. The higher the value of the car, the more the dealer has the advantage.
